PauseBible Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Article 1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern the conditions and procedures for using the PauseBible app (“the App”), the rights and responsibilities of users, and necessary provisions for service operation.

Article 2. Service Provision
The App is a Bible meditation application that can be used by anyone without registration.
Each time a user exits another app on their smartphone, a single Bible verse is displayed as a pop-up.
The App is provided free of charge and may include advertisements to support ongoing operation.

Article 3. Advertising Revenue and Data Handling
This App generates revenue through advertising networks including Google AdSense.
Personalized ads may be displayed during use, and users can control these settings via their Google Ads preferences.

If other ad networks are added in the future, their terms of use and privacy policies will be available within the ads and followed accordingly.

Article 4. Privacy Protection
The App does not require login or registration and does not directly collect personal information.
Certain non-identifiable data (such as device information or approximate location) may be collected automatically via Google advertising services but is not stored within the App.

Article 5. Copyright and License
The following Bible versions are provided:

• Korean Revised Version (KRV): Public Domain (copyright expired)

• King James Version (KJV): Public Domain

• World English Bible (WEB): CC0 Public Domain
  The App only includes Bible versions that are free of copyright restrictions.

 

Audio Attribution:
This app includes audio generated by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech API.  
The audio is used under license from Google and is provided solely for in-app playback.  
Audio files are not distributed or made available for download.

Article 6. Limitation of Liability
The Bible verses provided are intended for personal reflection and spiritual inspiration.
The App assumes no legal liability for any direct or indirect consequences arising from its use.

Article 7. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be revised with prior notice in accordance with applicable laws and service policies.
Updates will be communicated via in-app notices.
